Not good enough, and this is nothing we haven't heard before for that matter. This has pretty much been the typical PR response for a long time now. Until Reggie himself locks down a release date, our works not done yet people.

This is all great, but those games will likely still be duds at retail...which is why Nintendo was hesitant to begin with. I don't really blame them.

It's PR bullshit that everyone who wrote a letter/e-mail got back. XENOBLADE HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED. Please amend the story so the good waves of the localization campaign can continue.

No, the headline is not wrong. Until Nintendo of America says in black-and-white, "Xenoblade is not confirmed for a North American release," I will stick to the line that Nintendo has reconfirmed the release.

Tho I'am fully aware of the English patch for this game, I'am still hoping for Fatal Frame! BOTH! The Mask of the Lunar Eclipes and the Unannounced Remake of Fatal Frame 2! Tho if I had to belive anything it would be that the Remake is being moved to Wii-U and that the Controller is PERFECT for it! Come on! i'am not the only one who thought of this!

For anyone curious about Fatal Frame 4: a US release is in the middle of the court right now for it. Apparently, first Tecmo said that NoA didn't want to bring it over due to them wanting to market the Wii towards parents. However, I recall later on, NoA said that wasn't true and Tecmo just didn't want to find a translator for it, or something akin to that story.
Because of this, I'm really not sure if Nintendo of America is to be blamed for the lack of titles in the US. I don't think we've heard any comments about these developers wanting to have the titles released in the US, so for all we know it could be them not wanting to port the titles here.

While I still think this is mostly BS, there is a possibility that it'll happen. Nintendo did say that there would be Wii games announced throughout the remainder of the year, so maybe there's a possibility that's what this is.

@GoofierBrute It can make people think that there is absolute confirmation that Xenoblade is coming to NA for sure. This email response has been used for a while now, nothing has changed. People need to keep going at it until we get direct confirmation from NOA that it is coming for sure. Not just in a PR response email.

I really hope that both of these games see a release in the United States. At least there is still hope for Xenoblade.

Yes! I don't know what the part did Operation Rainfall play in all of this, but really, thank you guys. This is one of the most positivie of things that happened recently. And there I was, thinking that community has little ability to change things like that.
