This is fairly exciting news. If I "import" a European version of The Last Story, I should have an easier time reading the words on screen than I would with a Japanese version. But hopefully it will come to North America so I won't be forced to "import" in the first place.
Congratulations to all of you, Americans. At least now you know that you'll get Xenoblade as well!

Hrmm... I'm rather skeptical about this. Customer support makes mistakes, and until I see some sort of official statement from Nintendo, I will refrain from getting excited.
Since it probably isn't likely this was a last minute decision it seems rather strange how poorly Nintendo handled the PR for these games.

Isn't this the same old song-and-dance that we've been hearing about for a couple of weeks? That "Monando was announced for NA but no release date has been given"? That just means the game was shown off at E3 2008 and has been on Nintendo's release list ever since.
Yeah, I don't believe this is a new announcement, but a reiteration of the 08 press release. Until I see it on shelves, why would I think Nintendo would take the risk on a game with so much translation?
As long as The Last Story gets translated into English, I don't care if it doesn't come to America. I can watch it on YouTube at least.

As much as it sucks that a lot of these (potentially) great RPGs haven't made it here yet there is a reason why Nintendo hasn't picked them up, they will sell practically nothing here. It'd be nice if Nintendo brought them all over to reward the hardcore Wii fan but it would pretty much be a charity gift to a few people. It'd be cool if Atlus or Xseed could get their hands on these games if Nintendo decides to drop them though.

As much as I want Pandora's Tower and Earth Seeker, I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm more than excited that I'll be able to play The Last Story and Xenoblade. (Even though normally I wouldn't say giving me an opportunity to buy something should be considered a gift, in this case it would be.)

Preorders for Monado even beat out OCARINA OF TIME 3D on the Amazon.com bestsellers list! That's the story we should be seeing here.

Good, and it's weird to say this as an American but seeing something come to Europe is usually a good sign. And even with the Wii U on the horizon, I'd still buy a well-made Wii game.

I want to be excited, but I'm going to wait until I hear an official release. Apparently others have called/emailed Nintendo as well and they received the exact same message, word for word. Don't get me wrong, I want the 3 RPGs as much as anyone else, but I don't want to get my hopes up until I see a release date. I've already been disappointed too many times and I don't want to end up as bitter as the Mother fans.
