Now about that Last Story ^^
Buy Xenoblade, show your support, and wait and see.
Last Story isn't even out in Europe yet. I predict at the very least it will be carried out in a similar water-testing fashion. European sales combined with continued Operation Rainfall campaigning and American Xenoblade sales will determine The Last Story's American fate.
I'm happy for you US fans, that's great news! Now make sure you go out and buy it to prove they made they right decision.
Good, its great its coming out, but having to deal with Gamestop for it? ehhhhhhhh. I don't know, I get Nintendo can allow any one they want to sell it, or have exclusivity, but it sort of reeks of an even higher level of BS then exclusive DLC does.

I'm sure they'll bring The Last Story to NA as well.
I did my deed already, I'm in Europe you know. Also, quite honestly, I don't care for The Last Story, I'm just hoping the people who want it will be able to get it.
They still do. I'm happy for you guys that wanted this game that you're getting it, but I really hate to see a group of people that could be so incredibly whiny get any credit for this.
But seriously, hopefully they announce Last Story, not having to hear about Operation Rainfall ever again can't come soon enough, and I'm a member of it!...but I digress, this game will be caressing my Wii's inside on launch day!
Also I sure hope they keep the English voiceovers in the European version, because it's some of the best acting I've ever heard in a game. Or maybe it's just the charm of their accent. I probably would have gotten tired of hearing "Man, what a bunch of jokers!" for the millionth time if it came from a nasally American actor.
How can you say that Operation Rainfall had anything to do with this, definatively?
It seems to me that this was planned all along by Nintendo - they seemed to be holding this "card" until people became disinterested (ie after Zelda and Mario Kart are released).
I've always supported what Rainfall was doing, but to be fair, I don't know how much credit they deserve in this case until we get more information.
If anything, Operation Rainfall deserves credit for keeping these games in the forefront of people's minds. Without it, people could have just easily forgotten about the games like past ones that didn't come to the states.
I don't think anyone can blame you and frankly NOA earned themselves that lost sale to NOE.
I am also sorta hoping they keep the English voice actors.
I get what you're saying, and it's a valid point. But conversely, Nintendo could easily just choose to not acknowledge the Operation Rainfall pressure and pretend they had it planned all along. It doesn't need to make sense. This is Nintendo we're talking about.
You're welcome North America! ...I guess that makes me a Xenoblade Ambassador!?
NOA acting like total tossers is all the reason I need to give credit to Rainfall, deserving or not.
But is it still to much to ask for Last Story? Xenoblade looks good, and I'm going to get it at the very least to give nintendo the correct message, but that was the one that I really wanted.
