@Baines, don't forget about DKCR, Sin and Punishment II, and Endless Ocean II. Nintendo also had quite a bit of third party support last year. It's this year that is utterly dead.
The Metacritic score for this game is amazing. I'm going to wait to see if Nintendo of America gets off its ass and releases it here, but if not, them I'm definitely importing it.
Since NOA is taking so long deciding, I feel many gamers may have already taken the matter into their own hands(modding, etc), I dread that, if they go for it, the sales just won't be there to justify it, making such a choice less likely in the future.
I don't know why so many people seem so reluctant to mod their Wii consoles. :\ Not only can you do it yourself without physically modifying your Wii (since it's a softmod), but via the new 'LetterBomb' method it's actually easier than ever! Certainly easier than when I did it.
And yeah, Xenoblade Chronicles is indeed brilliant. :-)

I am reluctant to do it because Nintendo will probably include dickish firmware update with Skyword Sword that erases savegames and the homebrew channel.
