It's ridiculous, I paid for express delivery and it's now several days late.
And yeah, Xenoblade Chronicles is indeed brilliant. :-)
I have a feeling I'll be playing this on a modded Wii in thew near future.

Xenoblade Chronicles seems to be doing okay in Europe
Xenoblade Chronicles launched in Europe last week, and it seems to have had a pretty solid debut. The RPG that Nintendo of America won't localize debuted at number two on the British Wii Charts. If you're thinking that says very little due to the fact that the Wii has nothing else to buy, then you might be cheered to know that the overall multiplatform charts places the game at number seven, which ain't shabby at all. NoA's Reggie Fils-Aime said his company was going to pay attention to the game's progress in Europe, which implied that success in the PAL territories may inspire a North American localization. While it's not been a major, record-shattering, megaton hit, Xenoblade appears to have had a very comfortable launch, which is more than can be said for most Japanese RPGs that aren't called Final Fantasy. That reminds me, I need to mod my Wii today ... Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I still haven't got it, I think my special edition got lost in the post or something.
It's ridiculous, I paid for express delivery and it's now several days late. @Baines, don't forget about DKCR, Sin and Punishment II, and Endless Ocean II. Nintendo also had quite a bit of third party support last year. It's this year that is utterly dead. The Metacritic score for this game is amazing. I'm going to wait to see if Nintendo of America gets off its ass and releases it here, but if not, them I'm definitely importing it. Since NOA is taking so long deciding, I feel many gamers may have already taken the matter into their own hands(modding, etc), I dread that, if they go for it, the sales just won't be there to justify it, making such a choice less likely in the future. I don't know why so many people seem so reluctant to mod their Wii consoles. :\ Not only can you do it yourself without physically modifying your Wii (since it's a softmod), but via the new 'LetterBomb' method it's actually easier than ever! Certainly easier than when I did it.
And yeah, Xenoblade Chronicles is indeed brilliant. :-) I am reluctant to do it because Nintendo will probably include dickish firmware update with Skyword Sword that erases savegames and the homebrew channel. Quick everyone buy the NES Final Fantasy on Wii Virtual Console. That will show them!
