XboxEvent.com registered, industry expects April event
Immediately following Sony's big shindig this week, event planners Eventcore have registered the URL XboxEvent.com. And we're talking right after, yesterday, Feb. 21. NeoGAF points out that these are the same folks that are listed as putting together Microsoft's E3 media event last year. It looks like an event is coming up from all of this. Our guess? The next Xbox will be revealed soon. I think we all expect Microsoft to do this before E3. CVG says that some industry folks, including one Sony official, believe that the event will take place in April, and we should expect the next Xbox system to be announced there. There's not a lot to go on for that last bit -- it sounds more like guessing. Besides, I liked the rumored March, GDC-timed reveal more. Regardless of which month Microsoft chooses to reveal their plans for next-gen, this year is going to be nuts. Did you know?
