Given that Halo is one of Xbox's headlining games, it makes perfect sense that it'd headline a sale. Well, at least part of a sale. The second day of Xbox's Ultimate Games Sale sees five new titles discounted, Halo 4 probably being the most notable of the bunch. Of course, if you're looking to swoop on that awfully tempting Halo: The Master Chief Collection later this year, this one's kind of a moot point.

These are the deals that are in effect for July 9:

  • Halo 4 (50% off)
  • ArcaniA (75% off)
  • WWE 2K14 (50% off)
  • Dragon Age II (75% off)
  • Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate (50% off)

These daily discounts are in addition to the titles and add-ons whose prices are slashed until July 14.

Microsoft's TGS lineup includes few Japanese games

Microsoft has revealed its Tokyo Game Show lineup, and one has to wonder how much it will resonate the crowd next week at the Makuhari Messe convention center.
