Next Monday will see the release of Ninja Gaiden Black, Black (I'm sensing a theme here), and Sid Meier's Pirates! on Xbox Originals.
All three titles will be 1200 Microsoft Points each, which is a surprisingly good deal considering that a used copy of Ninja Gaiden Black from a brick and mortar store is more expensive than this digital offering.
If you're up for a serious challenge, I'd fully recommend getting Ninja Gaiden Black -- especially at this price point. I've never played Pirates! before, but I have heard great things about it. As for Black, I vaguely recall renting it and not being terribly impressed. Anyone care to fill me in?

And Pirates! is fun, although for me it had some "This could've been so much better" moments.
Anyone have an insight?
I nevre had the first XBOX so all of those games are new to me.
the problems Ive been facing are
1. the amount of space it will occupy on my wimpy 20 gig HDD
2. the lack of achievements
and
3. the fact that the games are old and outdated.
but, I might have to free up some space and take the plunge for NGB.

I've yet to play Ninja Gaiden. Count me in for that.

I own Black on the PS2 and it's a great title, may have to bust it out again!
First classic actually worth getting
I actually kind of wish that I hadn't paid damn near 30 bucks for Ninja Gaiden Black a while back.
Guess I might check out Pirates then.
Get Sigma for PS3. Looks better, plays better and you can play as Rachel's boobs.
If it came with achievements maybe I'd DL NG Black or the mediocre Black from the XBLM. I'd rather play GTA San Andreas again.
As for NG, still have it in my XBOX disc drive, can't beat the fire temple level.

...but without the plot, cutscenes and multiplayer. I HATED waiting for the retarded cutscnees to finish. The bridge level was amazing.
Oh yeah: people whining about the difficulty should STFU and become men. It's not that hard once you figure out how to play.
I heard many good things about pirates I might have to check that out if I can't find it cheaper via Gamnespot
