Xbox Live Marketplace: Stranglehold demo, Track and Field photo

The Xbox LIVE Marketplace updated early this morning, adding the 1.2gb Stranglehold demo to the lineup. Director John Woo teamed up with Midway to continue the story of Inspector Tequila from Woo's 1992 film "Hard Boiled". The single-player demo lets players pump bullets into just about everything in a fully destructable Hong Kong marketplace.

The Xbox LIVE Arcade title Track and Field was also added, letting up to four players (local or  via Xbox LIVE) compete in events like the Javelin Throw, 100 meter Dash, and the ever popular Long Jump. It's available now for 400 Microsoft points.

There's also a Madden '08 trailer and more Comic-Con 2007 video posted for your viewing pleasure. Unfortunately, I got my hopes up when the title Puzzle Fighter HD caught my eye. Sadly it only refers to Themes and Gamer Pictures. Maybe next time.

Also, if you were busy yesterday, you may have missed the Eternal Sonata demo. If that's the case, grab that, too. The battle system is a blast.

[Good lookin' out, Action Bastard]

Kryptinite - I feel your pain. After yesterday's update, mine has been acting like it might do the same

I sure hope they bring this to PSN as well. This and Warhawk are the next 2 games I'm really interested in.

Demo is mf'ing awesome. I hear that once you beat it on normal you unlock hard and a new "tequila bomb" beat that difficulty and you unlock Hard-Boiled mode and the final bomb.

Has anyone read the system requirements for the PC version?

XP sp2 or Vista
2 Gigs of ram
2.0 GHZ Dual-core or higher
FIFTEEN FUCKING GIGS OF HARD DRIVE SPACE

What the hell? That's worse than Crysis!

took me all day to download the demo yesterday. i just played it and it was pretty good for a demo, from the gameplay video at the end of the demo the game looks like it could be a winner but i'll wait until the full game comes out to render a verdict.
