Xbox Live Gold members can now download Halo 3 for free

Finally

Well, here's the much-welcomed end to this bungled saga. After being perpetually confused as to when Halo 3 would make its appearance as one of the titles in Microsoft's Games with Gold program, Xbox Live Gold members can finally download Master Chief's 2007 odyssey for free right now through the end of the month.

I'd imagine that it has to be a pretty minuscule sect that actually wants to play Halo 3, but hasn't already. I mean, did you see the part up top where I mentioned it's from 2007? At least some people can upgrade to a digital version before giving their disc to the newspaper boy as a half-assed Christmas present. Oh yeah, no one reads the newspaper anymore. Well, you figure it out then.

Now we can wrap up complaining about this Games with Gold title before moving onto complaining about the next Games with Gold title.
