Besides, Downpour sucked and Silent Hill HD is broken and shitty so they're not missing much.
I remember the original Xbox's unveiling in Japan, all the pictures of Japanese gamers snickering at the small condo sized controllers. Microsoft pissed away allot of money trying to secure exclusives that would appeal to the market in order to crack the silicone curtain of Japanese video game Nationalism. I think in hindsight they would of been better served stuffing it in one of those anime girl pillows and replacing the disc drive with a thimble sized penis massager...I kid...I kid...
Anyways platinum lead designs on the ps3 so thats the version id get anyways. :-)
@fearsym
Or maybe the japanese are smart and dont invest in shitty american products? Heh :-P
...says the guy with the pervy anime avatar. Stop being such an ignorant mouth-breather. PS3 has been riddled with just as many hardware problems as 360, mainly from a developmental standpoint. Plenty of developers would argue in favor of the 360 hardware. Plus it's second iterarion has ironed out many of the kinks, a willingness on microsofts part to correct its errors not exactly embraced by Sony.
Sony consoles are notoriously wonky to develop for. Generally its a few in-house and second party developers who are ever able to fully unravel the ancient japanese mysterious entombed in their wise asian inners. Go back to hugging your pillow waifu and watching god-awful animes with the narrative breadth of a sonichu webcomic.
Funny thing will be if, like Baynonetta, Platinum ends up making the 360 version perform better.
No reason to waste the time and money on a version that no ones going to even buy
Your fanboy is showing.
Baynoetta played beautifully on the 360 while the PS3 version had major framerate drops.
Thankfully, Platinum is working hard to make sure that both versions are running correctly.
So Yes, the cancellation of Metal Gear Rising on the 360 in Japan is the fact that the 360 doesn't sell well over there.
the only nationalism going on is actually the success of the X360 in North America, nice try though.
Seriously, trying to boil it down to that when you have to buy 3 or more 360s to stay in a console generation is silly at best. Then there are microsofts disgusting business practices, etc etc
Also, these shitty arguements about how Japan is apparently biased towards American consoles are hilarious. Who the hell cares? You honestly think a country with such a long history of fantastic console development was going to leap on board with a random foreign newcomer?
it's almost as if you don't realise that Japanese people's first language is Japanese.
Unlike Bayonetta, which was developed as a 360 game from the ground up and cheaply ported by another team to PS3, this is a multiplat game from its onset.
I'm sure both versions will be amazing, but there's still the problem of it not being next year yet so I can play it!!!
Im sorry, in light of the earth shattering insights and staggering revelations posed by your tired .gifs I fully retract my statements. You truly are god tier debate captains whose distinct brand of internet assburgery trumps any logic words can muster.
Also attempting to give off an air of intellectual superiority in the same series of paragraphs where you misspell multiple words and engage in tired facile racism
