Xbox 360 dashboard update invites going out on Friday photo

Hold your horses, guys (image courtesy of this place)! Sign-ups for the November Xbox 360 update preview program should be closed by the time you read this, which, according to Major Nelson, means emails will be sent out with invites on Friday for those who got in.

While we patiently wait for that day to come, you ought to watch Nick's video demonstrations of the new features -- support for Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, news, and more. If you consider yourself to be unlucky like I do, and you don't get an email, there's still hope.

This will only be the first wave of invites, so don't do anything too rash, ya hear?
