I know, I know -- Adventures of Shuggy has an off-putting name. But, it's worth a look. Really, it is! This game is a solid platformer that revolves around single-room levels, many of which have different mechanics. One involves room tilting, while another takes a page from P.B. Winterbottom.
Variety is something platformers easily -- and often will -- botch. Adventures of Shuggy is $10, and if nothing else, give the demo a play when it hits Xbox Live this Wednesday.
And then there is Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, which I don't need to sell you on. If you are legitimately into MTG, your mind is already set. Just know that this one will set you back by $10 when it also goes live on Wednesday.
