Over one million of you voted, and now the results for the third annual Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards are in. To make this reveal a little more exciting, try to picture Mr. Destructoid heroically tearing open a massive envelope to unveil the winning games. Got it? Good -- here they are:

Why yes, MGS and EA know a thing or two about putting out a quality digital product on Xbox 360. In a way, I'm kind of surprised that Trials HD nabbed the top honors. Not because it's a bad game or anything -- it's actually quite phenomenal, in my eyes -- but because it's been billed as this underdog of sorts.
Nice going, everyone! Let's hope next year's list is more, uh, diverse.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I remember having a shitload of excellent choices last year. I couldn't keep up.
"Umm... Battlefield 1943 has co-op?"
Sure it does. You cooperate with your team (US or Japan) to capture the points owned by the other team.
"Co-op" doesn't always mean "two-player split-screen".
"Trials HD was made purely to frustrate and piss me off I decided."
Well, it's made for people that don't get easily frustrated. Personally I love it. It's the best example of oldschool gameplay in a modern game.
Good game, but I'm still confused about how it won 'Most original' being an HD remake and all (even if it is massively improved, the concept is long past being original).
I would have given best co-op to Splosion Man too. Even though I agree it is co-op in many ways, it's a bit cheap giving it to an online shooter.
HASBRO FAMILY BULLSHIT!!!
