One of the many things that I found delightful about Left 4 Dead 2 was its use of daytime levels. It's not something you see done frequently when it comes to zombies, videogames or otherwise.
That said, seeing these dark and damp screenshots of the upcoming add-on "The Passing" has me excited for the return to form -- including the appearance of our friends from the original Left 4 Dead. As for the new poster, I dig it ... I think?
The characters look kind of off, but otherwise I'm all for it. Also, we've cropped out the fantastic name of the shop behind the survivors. Make sure to seek it out in the gallery!

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

He's the guy from the weapons store in the first act. His model was cut from the game, but can be put back in via the console. Or, in this case, via DLC.

Though the campaign poster does look like a mockup, the left 4 dead 2 survivors are new because the way Nick is holding his rifle is not on any of the current posters.
BTW the infected wedding is incredibly creepy.
