Earlier we told you a bit about Dead Rising 2's downloadable content, called Dead Rising: CASE ZERO. This playable prologue ties together the two games. We have a bit of new information on it, but one of the key points is that it is exclusive to Xbox 360. Nothing is planed for the PS3 yet, says producer Shinsaku Ohara. Yeah, so there's that.
On CASE ZERO: Dead Rising 2 takes place 5 years after the first game, but the DLC takes place in the middle, some two years after the the original. Chuck heads from Las Vegas to Fortune City, and the story that takes place around this fills in the details between the two games. So far they haven't talked about any cameos from characters from the first game, but they say that they're not opposed to it either.
What's really cool is that each area is packing in 1,200 zombies. We were told that the game could do more, but that's what they're pushing now. Yikes.

The first game isn't even on the PS3, why would you need the prologue as an exclusive on that platform. This is stupid.

Well it makes sense, especially if they do go ahead and put a cameo in, even if its just Otis and not the main man Frank West (though its easier to believe he would spend time in Vegas). Dead rising was the game that made me get a 360, and I still play it today.

Thats the only reason I think they are doing this. well, that and all the MS $$$
common sense, capcom seems to lack it.
Why is it still the prevailing opinion that every 360 exclusive was because of "M$$$$$" while every PS3 exclusive is a good strategic decision, the right thing to do, and other smarmy double standards?
I only have a 360 so Im happy as Larry, its been a Zombie-riffic day all round for me with L4D2 stuff too. Maybe Capcom know you want it and thought "fuck that guy!!" and now you have ruined it for all the nice and non-douchey PS3 owners.
