[UPDATE]
We've since seen the game in action and heard what Lionhead Studios had to spill about Fable III at this particular event. This little bit of humor and editorial is now available below the fold. And why is that, you didn't ask? It's because what we ran earlier was speculation, things we thought we saw. And it was speculation that Lionhead wouldn't confirm or deny at the event.
Our little list has several notes about motion control via Natal. And even though there was mad gesturin', right-hand-off-the-controller action, the crew were mum on the details. In fact, they didn't even mention Natal, which sounds downright weird to us. Regardless, it's a bummer.
Being stuck in a line full of nerds is a drag, especially when you're waiting to see something as juicy and unknown as Lionhead Studios' Fable III. But we're not about to shut off our brains and avert our eyes before a presentation begins.
So without further introduction, here are five things we think we learned about Fable III while being stuck in an X10 line.
- You'll be able to pick up kids with Natal-aided hand motions.
- You'll use a controller to play, but you'll also use your right hand to do gestures and initiate things.
- Your avatar in the game can get evil or bluish angelic wings instead of horns or a halo.
- You do overhead finishing moves with your hands.
- It looks, feels, and smells like Fable.

Yeah, well this sounds like shit so far. There'd better be a post later today that says "BUT you don't need Natal! Hooray!" Because if Molyneux' little news that'll piss me off is that I'll need Natal then he may have actually done somethin he said he'd do.
Man, I don't know why my mind went there. I can say that I'm not loving the amount of motion control they're throwing in, at least if it's mandatory.
gg
Stupid rain outside.
OH SHIT WAIT!!!
*runs and gets Stevie Ray Vaughan vinyl, puts it on*
It's floodin' down in Texas!
Shit I never thought this would be relevant. Carry on everyone.
Natal-aided hand motions and little kids?
Watch out, America.
Oh ho ho. I see what you did there. Clever. Very clever.
I have a feeling that all employees at Lionhead studios just turn up to work to jerk each other off. You can jerk each other off but stop jerking the rest of the gaming community!
I bet all the Natal features will be piss poor just like the motion controls in Zelda twilight princess. Just there cause motion is available but dont actually add to the gameplay.

You do know that twilight was a port, right? You could have just gone out and bought the original version for the cube and played it on the wii like every other fan did if you had any problems. It's common known fact that TPWii was a rushed port because they always launch a new Nintendo console with one of Nintendo's first party products, those products normally being of the Mario or Zelda franchises, and withmario not being out until later it was the best they could do.
This is just stupid.
Yeah I know it was a port, was just using it as an example of how I think the motion will be poorly intergrated in Fable 3.
Didn't mean to offend any zelda fans.
Ditto, and Im quite the Fable fan.
For what? Boob-grabbing-action?
I actually liked Fable 1 + 2. Not crazy mad for them, but liked, so I'm keeping an eye on this.
And you know what Peter? I DIDN'T LOVE MY DOG AND I LAUGHED WHEN IT DIED!
