X10: Crackdown 2 looks hot, as does its box art photo

With a slew of release dates being revealed at X10 and Crackdown 2 one of the few games not included, I was more than a little bummed out. But then, approximately five seconds later, a ton of new screenshots -- including the cover art -- was sent out. Oh joy!

I'm starting to be reminded of Prototype, what with the mutants roaming around the city and all. Not to say that negatively; I actually think Ruffian Games can make it work. We were also told about the pre-order bonus for Crackdown 2: it's four exclusive Agency suits (gold, brushed, red, and blue metal).

What do you think? Doesn't this look like it'd be a blast to play with friends?

Is it just me, or the XBOX360 labels are starting to look narrower? Because that's a good thing.

is that what you call "hot" box-art?

looks like a comic book cover circa 1994. = /

I didn't like the original... lock-on aiming made it hardly a game and every mission was SHOOT EM TIL THEY DIE!! which gets old. All those powers and nothing unique to do with them in the missions.

The jumping was cool though.

Veery interested. The original came out of nowhere, and probably only got the mass market opportunity it did because of the Halo 3 beta. Good thing too. This game was the polar opposite to what GTA IV did with open world: emphasis on fun and play verses story and drama.

That cover art looks...pretty bitchin.

I still wish there was more variation to the agents. Faceless dudes in armor is a big step down from the crew in the original. Other than that quibble, I'm stoked for this.

Crackdown was the most fun I've had on my 360.

This sequel is a day 1 purchase for me and I very rarely buy games on release these days.

As long as I can spend a month looking for that last agility orb and have a blast jumping like superman on crack I will be über stoked.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Just seen the helicopter. I pray to all the false idols that this is an AGENT helicopter that transforms as you level you agent up.

Just....think....of how cool that's going to be.

I really liked Crackdown until about halfway through the second gang. It just got repetitive and started to bore me. You got more powerful, but everything was simply an increase in what you could do from the very start, essentially.

Every time I'm considering buying this game I play the demo and feel like I just played 98% of what the game has to offer. :/

@karooo....dude, the floor is the least important thing in a crackdown game, the floor can look like an 8-bit carpet covered in vomit for all I care, I'm gonna be flying high!

Really? Does it really look hot though? Looking at these screens does not scream "looking hot" to me, its more like "looks like shit." Seriously, people rag on the Wii's graphics all the time, well this looks no better than most Wii games, for god sakes!
