X-Men Origins: Wolverine has scenes, and we’re thrust behind them once again by a developer diary. This one, titled “Uncanny,” deals with how the game follows the movie’s plot and briefly describes some enemies in the game. No promises of Wolverine videogame supremacy in this one, folks.

But there is one shocker. Sabretooth is Wolverine’s brother. According to the devs, this is a good thing. We’re still trying to figure out why.

Click through to see the video. There’s a good bit of action that may or may not turn you off to the game. Think of it as research material.

The whole brother thing is something I probably would have guessed at some point. Maybe after the movie version came out, I dunno but I would have guessed it.

The devs continue to say how great the game looks, and I have had thoughts about how great the games looks. I really hope that this isn't hyped up to the point where all of this is being said for promotion if the game turns out to be mediocre.

I personally have no problem with movies like this taking liberties with the source material.

However, after seeing the movie this is based on, I can say one thing: Regardless of changes to the comic book story, the film still sucked ass.

As for the game, I don't care what happens during the course of the story. I just want to cut people up.

I actually really liked Wolverine, and I'm very much anticipating the game.

I just watched the work print version of this Movie. Was really funny seeing it with a lack of CGI. Will have to go to the Cinema to see the final thing though. The fight at the end looked horrible without the effects and stuff. lol

They've been brothers. Read Wolverine: Origins circa 2000. Available as a trade paperback now. Sabertooth's original name was Logan (where James Howlett, nee Wolverine got the name from) and later on took the name Dog when James took the name Logan.

This was all unknown to Wolverine until the whole House of M fiasco when his mind was restored to remember previous reality to Wanda's reality switching, but the side effect was that ALL of his memory was restored.
