2K Games sent along some new screenshots and a trailer of the PS3 version of BioShock. We were curious when we saw that the new trailer was labeled "BioShock Cool Sh*t Video." After seeing it, we'll have to agree that it was packed with cool sh*t.

In case you missed the new additions, here they are:

  • a new Survivor difficulty mode
  • Trophy support
  • all-new Add-On game content
  • Challenge Rooms

I'm not crazy enough to compare these new screenshots with Xbox 360 ones, but I will say that they look great, as expected. Let's be safe and say that either version is a treat for the eyes. PS3-only gamers will finally get to traverse Rapture on October 21.

They say that you'll never have the same experience twice in Rapture. Are any of you looking to play it again on the PS3? Or have you had your fill?

It looks good. But not any better than the 360 version. PC version is still the premier version if you have a decent PC to run it.

I can't wait to get Giga Drill Break'd underwater all over again. This time I'll actually buy because it's on a good console.

I've definitely had my fill.

I played the CRAP out of the 360 version.

Sorry. Wake me up when the sequel comes.

God. Damn. It doesn't matter how many times I've played it, I still love watching Bioshock in action. Beautiful!

Unfortunately they didn't up anything else. They basically pulled a Capcom. If go around saying F you the first time, and say "We're just kidding here you go play our game" a lot are not going to buy it, especially if they own a PC.

I might buy it, but $60 is quite alot of money for a game I've already bought once for full price.

Played it to death on 360, but by all means, if you haven't played it yet and only have a PS3, go get it.

I'm a 360 man, and seeing the PS3 get a version of Bioshock just put a smile on my face. Now even more people will enjoy venturing through the dying halls of Rapture. So to all you PS3 owners reading this, would you kindly buy this game.
