Worth it: eBay auction for crystal-covered Wii starts at $4,000 photo

If 50 Cent pulled out a rocket launcher and started tearing up the Middle East over a crystal covered skull, wait until he gets a load of this -- a Wii covered in Swarovski crystals.

Decorated with 20,000 crystals, the console features sparkling likenesses of Bowser and Mario to commemorate the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the "brawl to end them all." The one-of-a-kind Wii was give to the winner of last year's Nintendo-sponsored national Super Smash Bros. tournament. The champ, Daniel Jung (a.k.a. KoreanDJ), has decided to put the Wii on eBay to celebrate the year anniversary of Brawl being released in North America.

The bidding starts at a reasonable $4,000, which has nothing to do with the rarity of the Swarovski crystals -- the total package also comes with a copy of Brawl signed by the game's director, Masahiro Sakurai.

You want this.

$4000 for a Wii covered in what is basically glorified glass. No I don't think so. But it does look slick though.

Why not just get bling stickers and do it yourself?

God that looks badass! ...4,000$ is a little ridiculous, though. :/

With how much i make its soo not worth it. But if my financial situation was a lot better i would buy it just to have it in a display case and show off heh

I can see the crystals falling one by one in the lapse of a week.

No, no I don't want this. This is gaudy as hell. Ugh.

I'm fine with my plain old white Wii. Why do we need to stick crap all over it just to make it all bling-blingy? *shakes head*

Damnit, I was at that tournament. If I had won, I could be selling that thing on ebay right now. Although I'm not sure if anyone will bite down on the $4000 price tag, considering I'm pretty sure that actual value is much less(Swarovski crystals are basically glass).

Hell, I had an ugly thing like that, I'd sell it too. But I have no use for the Wii.

They look cool, but I hated Brawl so much that I could never get one, even if it was regular Wii price.

Wouldn't that trap all the heat in? I have absolutely no knowledge on this subject but I imagine crystals are quite insulating.

Wanna bet some Tournyfag is going to buy it just so he can preform some satanic ritual to put a pox on Sakurai's name for making Brawl not meele?
