If you're not marking the enemy, repairing or doing whatever your class does, you're last on the leaderboard at the end of each round, no matter how many kills you've got.

It seems to be. (on xbox at least) I've only been playing the last couple days. There is a big shortage of players tho. I've been in quite a few games where there's no more than 5 players and horribly unbalanced teams. I won a game of 3v1 which I thought was pretty awesome.

@Jesse7277 Through my experiences, yes, the lag and disconnect problems have been seemingly cured. Although then again its largely dependent upon the server you happen to be on.
I'm quite excited for the expansion! I've continued to play BFBC2 despite almost all my friends leaving for Black Ops. I'm thankful of the continued efforts the developers have been making. The game keeps getting better and better! :D

if only they gave it an extra little nudge, and gave my new playstation move something to do instead of sit idly while i play this, then it would be totally ace.

Damn I just watched the trailers. Looks incredible. I\'ve been bumping R.A. the Rugged Man and Vinnie Paz - Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story on repeat in anticipation.
I'm a little underwhelmed by this expansion. I realize it'll be cheap but it's not really what I was hoping for. I was hoping for a good $40 expansion that would get me back into this game. I have a feeling I'd play for like a week and be over it. There's only 4 maps, after all (probably after a week it won't be unlocked, yet.)
Hmm. I've been looking for a reason to pop this game back in my 360. Playing Black Ops is fun, as I love weapon and character customization and I think BO is the best CoD multiplayer experience yet balance-wise, but it's hard to play a shooter without full on destruction after you've played the BC games.

When will they ever fix that fucking bug where E picks me another kit instead of disarming the bomb? And its always littered with kits from dead disarmers... shit gets frustrating.

I popped BC2 back into the 360 last night because Black Ops was making me miss the more coordinated feel it seemed to have. However, I could absolutely not find a game. I tried, in maybe, 3 minute (if I'm being honest) increments every hour last night and nothing. So, with that in mind, my GT is Gritzy85 and if anyone mic'd in these comments is down for some games please feel free to hit me up. I'm ex-military, and an extrovert, so expect some communication over the wire.
I used to play BF2 a good bit before I stopped for other games. Im thinking about jumping back in, except now everyone has ranked up and unlocked all the good weapons while I will still have peashooters.

On the subject of teamwork, I find in BFBC2 there is very little direct communication, whilst most of the time players know exactly what they are doing and play good solid team roles.
In contrast to the last two helpings of Call of Duty where the games are filled with obnoxious, egotistical, unsportsmanlike, uncooperative, k/d whoring, camping, little dipshits.
My comments about the player bases aside.
This stunt reminds me of the time during the end of BC in WoW where players had to do daily quests to Get the City on Quel Danas established and built up. Was actually a bit of a highlight in the BC expansion, the world PVP was so good in that place. Er wow off topic lol.
I haven't seen the statistics for PC/Xbox360/PS3 all together how many assists players accumulate per day. But for one its bound to increase, possibly double. Its not going to take players long to get a measly 69mil that is for sure.
