Ah well, Capcom get there's (again).
I'd rather see Capcom's first. Knowing Namco Bandai, we'll get 10 characters on the retail disc, with the other 2/3's of the roster DLC'd (well, on-disc unlocked)off at $10 a pop. Maybe some $7 alt outfits to spice things up to.
Am I reading that wrong or are you just stupid? Tekken 6 has more characters out of the box than SF4 after 3 iterations. It also has a shitload of customization options for each one so people can make their own alts, and you don't need to pay an extra dime.
Did wonders for SNK.
Except, you know, TXSF is a 3D fighter.
So there IS a reason for 3D fighter fans to start bitching at Namco.
...Luckily, Im not one of them. Bring on Capcom's game!
Why is it ridiculous? This way they can have one game that plays like Street Fighter and one that plays like Tekken instead of trying to create some hideous hybrid.
Even though I'm not at all a Tekken fan, I'm holding out hope that TxSF may surprise me. Namco has been making some pretty interesting games lately for genres that I didn't think I'd ever feel something for (Dead Heat and Tank Tank Tank really freaking surprised me), so I'll keep my eyes open.
>> "We really haven't started on Tekken X Street Fighter," producer Katsuhiro Harada told press at a Namco Bandai event in Dubai. "Things are going well with Street Fighter X Tekken, and we'll have more on that at E3."
Wait WHAT? Katsuhiro Harada isn't involved AT ALL with Street Fighter x Tekken(as anyone following both projects can attest, as well as in the body of your article) so how will he have more on that at E3?
>> When speaking with Street Fighter x Tekken producer Yoshinori Oni earlier this year, I was told that Namco Bandai has zero input when it comes to Capcom's title. So instead of working on its own game, they're just sitting around waiting for Capcom to make a move, eh?
Again, as anyone who cares a single iota for either game can attest, the fact that the two projects are completely different assignments, it is asinine to state that Harada-san or Namco are 'just sitting around waiting' 'instead of working on its own game' when SFxT ISN'T property of Namco in the first place.
Sorry to go all nerd-rage on you but god damn, whenever a blogger on any blog site that is inexperienced in a certain topic/genre(Jim Sterling sucks at FPS', rates them shitty if their name isn't Killzone) blogs about something, the inexperience shows.
Please tell me I am just in a it's-5AM-and-haven't-gone-to-sleep-yet coma of incorrectess.
