Gamers begging for more of what they arbitrarily decide is "hardcore" content on the Wii need look no further than Capcom's forthcoming first person on-rails zombie shooting extravaganza,
Umbrella Chronicles, and
IGN last night put up a brand new trailer for your all-seeing head balls to gawk at. Of course, since you're part of the cool crowd, you can just watch the video above, right now. Watched it before you read this? Well, watch it again or something.
The new video shows some more footage inside the notorious Umbrella mansion, a very brief shot of what is presumabley a Raccoon City street, and plenty of frenzied undead action. The opinions of the Dtoid staff appear to be very low when it comes to UC, but personally, I'm still very interested in seeing how the final product turns out. There's certainly potential for greatness. Also, Wesker.

And considering that i skipped out on Episode Zero, this looks like it'll be a nice coverage of how all that ties in with that whole Racoon City thing.

This looks like a major step back to what was already achieved in the Gamecube, Resident Evil zero and specially resident evil 4 were TONS better than this lame house of the dead meets Resident evil 1 remake.
Tell you what capcom, if you seriously cant give us good gameplay with the freakin gimicky Wiimote just forget about it, we will use the old controller (we were already going to in mario brawl anyway), but give us a port of Resident Evil 5 instead of this crap.
I can't wait to see the finished product. While I may not rush out to purchase it, I'll certainly give it a rental.

You're a Wii hater because you haven't played this game, you really don't know all the ins and outs of the gameplay and you've already labeled it junk.

Resident Evil: Hunk!
What would be sweet is if they take Hunk and put him in the SECOND part of the game, you know the part this is NEW and never seen before, and have Hunk be one of the main characters taking down Umbrella cause they screwed him over and left him there to die.
Just give me fuckin control of the camera and make it a SCARY mothefuckin FPS for God's sake!! Why do the Japanese love rail shooters so much? WHY?! God dammit Capcom!
