I have been a very big fan of the Witcher 2 since its release and I was very disappointed to learn that the Xbox 360 version had been pushed back to Q1 2012. Yet CD Projket Red has been hard at work and until my non-PC gamnig friends can join me in my love for Witcher 2, its newest update is set to keep us all very happy indeed.
Not only do I get to interview the cute guy from CD Prjoekt Red, but I learn about the new "Dark" difficulty level and Arena mode, the brilliant price tag that CD Projekt are giving Witcher 2 2.0, and we have an update on the Xbox 360 version.

Meet the rest of the team
I am still looking for the tine to finish the first game, but it's nice to see them continue the trend of updating their game with free patches/additions!
Why should the update cost money to begin with, though?
You know Hollie, like last year I was so eager to meet you guys from destructoid at the GC, so I was steadily on the outlook for that shining red hair. But as last year, I was out of luck. :(
@Hollie Bennett: Are they going to do anything for console players in regards to missing all the story from the first game? Mass Effect 2 on PS3 had that comic.
Nyoooo. Marek. We interviewed him here in Kyiv half a year ago. Really nice guy.
Btw, now we learned something i've never heard before - everything that is being done for xbox 360 version will be on PC version as well. which is awesome.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
She is so hoootttt

The Witcher 2 has background stories in the menus if you never played the first one.
Shinta: I don't think they are, they didn't on PC. I mean, I still dont know what happened aside from the bits of back story in Witcher 2
Klarden: I interviewed him a few times now. I do like Marek!
SHOCKER
But those stats are probably not accurate because that's only counting Steam users.
