A nice surprise to start off the day, a demo for Starbreeze Studios' Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena has hit Xbox LIVE today.
The 639 MB demo lets you play the Athena Main Decks level, which takes place during the first portion of the game. You'll get the opportunity to control a drone (seen above), which Riddick can pull in close to use its gun to take out enemies, and its body for cover. Of course, the demo is for Gold members only, so pony up if you want to play.
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena ships on April 7 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The original Riddick was fantastic.
First one was great, The Darkness was great when you consider it was still a very early next gen game, I think this is going to rock. I'm interested in the hand to hand stuff, it's still one of the best examples of that in a FPS in my opinion.
No, but if they just keep the control and gameplay the same in the Butcher Bay section, it'll be a hell of a lot better than Killzone 2.
