Win some free stuff from Ubisoft and Intel [Update] photo

Ubisoft and Intel have put together quite the giveaway. Every day through December 30th, the two companies will be handing out one Intel Core I7-965 Extreme Edition processor and 50 copies of Far Cry 2. The point of the contest isn’t to give prizes or to spread the word on malaria awareness. It is to answer four mysterious questions.

We haven’t the slightest what these questions are. The e-mail we received from Ubisoft didn’t spell it out for us, and I’m currently having a problem registering on the site. Chances are it’s some sort of statistical gathering kind of thing. Entrance to the giveaway can be found via this link.

I suppose it could also be four questions pertaining to animal rights and proper driving methods. In my travels across Far Cry 2’s landscapes I met many zebras, antelopes, and big hairy things. I crushed them all with my mighty Pinto of doom.

[Update: It appears as though Americans are not the focus of this giveaway. Is this a French conspiracy or a simple mistake? Tune in later for more on this matter.]

I'm also having problems logging on, stating there's a problem with the country, but USA is listed as participating.

"The contest will be run in the following countries: United-States, United-Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, New-Zealand and Canada."

Everyone bitching about this not being available in America... Kindly STFU.

If I had a god damn penny for every time I've been denied access to something because it's America only I'd be a god damn billionaire. Videos, contests, deals, etc all restricted to me because I live 2 hours outside the states.

@Iron Dragon - Are you saying that Canada is getting this but us AMERICANS aren't? Ridiculous.

@Iron

wtf, I'm not bitching asshole, I just was stating that it says in the terms that the United States is a participating country yet it blocks me when I try to log in, as it seems to be doing to other people. It's not our fucking fault your government has some homo policy about prizes where you have to take a math quiz in order to get the prize.

Haha, Fuck you Americans! I just entered it no problems. This is for all those contest you restrict to people living in the US xD

Curious offering for first prize though, just the CPU. A compatible motherboard will cost like £200.

Not even worth my time. Far Cry 2 sucks dick anyway, and have no need for a processor. MALARIA FTW.

I'm from the UK, I had already registered with Ubisoft's site ages ago, and I had no problems with the competition.

That is all.

I'm in the US, I've had an Ubi account for a long time, and I just got the following:

"This part of the website is restricted to some countries and/or to a minimal age."

I verified that my profile has my birthday set correctly, and sadly I'm more than 2x the minimum age. (Oh, well. The curse of being part of the first gaming generation. Long live the Atari 2600, ya young whippersnappers!) So, it looks like their statements about the US qualifying for this are BS.

I was able to enter in the US by following these steps.
1. Go into your account and edit it to UK.
2. Enter the contest, and when you are logging in to answer the questions it lets you set your account back to USA on the very first step.
3. ????
4. Profit
