GameStop/EB Games have teamed up with
Machinima.com to bring the world a
God of War II user video contest. First prize includes $750 worth of GameStop/EB Games gift cards; a
God of War II strategy guide; a
God of War figurine
; t-shirts; and some other junk you can sell on eBay.
Personally, there are a few things keeping me from entering this contest. For one, I've never been motivated to create a piece of machinima in my life. I don't have the time, nor do I have the desire to make Kratos and a cyclops dance around to a Fall Out Boy song. Secondly, why would I stop actually playing
God of War II? That's just about the silliest thing I've ever heard.
To any of our community who plan on entering, be sure to work some Destructoid references in there for us.
