I know you guys are already excited about the awesome Ghostbusters pack Colette is handing out for this dandy Twitter Friday. As amazing as that is, I'm going to have to enter the arena for "most awesome prize to give out on a Friday" for I don't have t-shirts and goo, but rather, a Nvidia e-GeForce 9800 GTX+ GPU! This is a fantastic piece of hardware that is perfect for boosting your rig. I mean, I'm sure some of you would like to play Crysis at some point, and what better time than now?
So what do you have to win this GPU. Follow my instructions carefully, for you have two options: First, you can play a game in tonight's Friday Night Fights, kicking off what is surely to be an amazing series of prizes. This is good for both Quake and Cosmic Cannon, so be aware of that. For those a little less inclined for the competitive nature of FNF, you can bust out your Twitter (you have one, right?), and tweet your favorite random song lyric, followed by "#FNF". Everything else can be handled on our end.
Keep your eyes peeled next Friday, as that is when we are going to announce the winner of this graphics card. So who can we thank for this awesome prize? Well, all this goes out to Eidos Interactive and their game Battlestations: Pacific. Thanks for the kick-ass prize Eidos, and to everyone, good luck!
I can; however, play that game...MWA HA HA!
I could use this video card. My PC isn't horrible, but my card is.
Just wondering, cause I wouldn't want to enter if I had no use for the card.
The "x", I believe, makes it better. I think. Also, can't you double them up too?
Proof!
Scrixx will be on tonight on GoW2.
And yes, more X's are better.
Still, apparently the card is better all by itself. Hmmm.....
I'm running an f*cking Intel Chipset X3000 video card or something. It sucks Q.Q
Yeah if the card isn't the exact same card SLI = no go.
I think the "X" in the card means:
"Lets tweak this card ever so slighty to gain a 2% increase in clock speed which costs us nothing to do, toss the "Amazingly awesome consumer mind screwing X" on it and sell it for $50 more than any other card"
Quotes within quotes FTW!
"Yeah if the card isn't the exact same card SLI = no go."
that's mostly true, however you can SLI a 9800GTX with a 9800GTX+.
My Radeon 9550 is almost dead right now, i need some new graphic card.
Also I could use this well.
BenPerLee I like big butts and I cannot lie #fnf
(p.s)
i cant even play company of heroes on medium settings.
