GOODLUCK.gif Alas! The site is back from another busy week of crashing the server and we return with a clue to the Nintendo Wii giveaway. As we draw closer the clues become more specific... so until then, enjoy the obfuscation! Old clues are after the jump... So, how confident have you been feeling about your Guess the NES answer to win a free Nintendo Wii on Destructoid? Pretty good eh? Well, I just took a moment to review the entries and I'm 99.9% sure that on all of those 13 pages the answer is NOT present, so that's the best clue I can give you - 115 possible games eliminated on the spot! Here's another clue to drive you completely insane - the most prominent color on the box art is not even present on the game's title screen when you play. So run - post revised answers - good luck! If you are just arriving and are new to the contest, click on the full story button to learn how to play to win a free Nintendo Wii, no purchase necessary, bragging rights included! Wanna win a Nintendo Wii from Destructoid, absolutely free, shipped to your door as soon as we can get our hands on one? I bet you do! The more people read us, the bigger the prizes get every month - so tell a friend, won't ya punk?!! And by the way, have you picked out your Wii color yet? revolution-colors.jpg

HOW TO PLAY GUESS THE NES, WIN THE WII GAME

1) First, register to win!. If you've competed in a previous Destructoid contest, skip this. 2) Watch the Federline-inspired interprative Nintendo dance video above. I'm holding an NES video game in my hands. If you can guess what it is, I owe you a Nintendo Wii. Easy, eh? 3) When you're ready with a guess, post your official answer in the Wii Contest forum. * Not in the comments below *. UPDATE 2: The Tiebreaker rules have changed: we now favor the guy with the earliest correct answer posted, not seniority. So any joe off the street with a single post could win the Wii. So, it is NOT in your best interest to wait till the last minute for clues. Get your guesses in asap! Remember, you can change them any time. There's a bit of a strategy element to it now - check the details on the forum. Don't kill yourself trying to read my lips in the darkness, there will be better clues coming :-) I will post new clues every few days. You can watch this space by clicking on the Giveaways Tab at the top of the screen, it is your easy access shortcut. win a nintendo wii in our contest sweepstakes giveaway Going off topic, the ladies totally want the robot. We get an assload of MySpace messages asking me what I look like under the helmet, so this is a multipurpose video unmasking demonstration. Granted, now our entire readership knows that I have a dire need of drywall, a post-modern haircut, and have witnessed my rare cameo starring my Kevinesque sexdance face. Actually, it's 5am as I'm writing this, and I am about to keel over, but it (my sexdance face) was still extremely Federline and looked totally capable of impregnating any number of trashy pop stars -- that's not even a debate. I never hesitate to take one for the team. Moving on! Every few days or so, I will post more clues, videos, riddles, and photos on this page as we get closer to the end of the contest, which should coincide near the launch date of the Wii (October 4th? Who knows). Anyway, Gooooooooooooood luckzao! revolution-controllers.jpg PS. I turned off comments as some people were getting confused and guessing below - place your official guess in the forums!
