Will something BioShock 2 related happen this Saturday? photo

I noticed as soon as the Something in the Sea website launched that it was a potential goldmine for fans of the series wanting to dig up clues about the game's plot, and this jumped out at me even more so when I visited the recreation of the Something in the Sea room at Comic-Con and saw all these pages and books recreated in painstaking details.

Over at the BioShock 2 forums, people have been puzzling over this particular document, which details a lis tof times, beach locations and coordinates. The full letter can be seen in the gallery, which is from Mark Metzer and implores that you GET PHOTOS of the events taking place at these times. If there are actual events planned at these times and places, I would have to commend the BioShock 2 PR team for going above and beyond the call of duty on this one. Talk about cool! Think this might actually mean anything?

I live so close to Santa Monica, I was thinking of going. I even google-maps'd the location.

Then I realized the time listed is 6:11 AM

I don't believe in 6AM on weekends. Not like "I don't believe in getting up that early on weekends"

I don't think any time before 9AM EXISTS on weekends.

Which is really a shame, I wanted to scope this out. I wasn't interested in BS2 (yup, you read that right!) until I saw the PAX "booth." The conspiracy theory elements of the build-up intrigue me enough that I'm actually interested in the game. But there is NO WAY I'm getting up early enough to see what this is. I have to draw the line somewhere, and that's it.

Not surprised, it's only in Cali in the states.

Even though Rapture is in the Atlantic, not the pacific. Way the break continuity for us the the states.

I would love to be in Brighton at sunrise but it's 10:50 now. I'd have to go 200 miles in a few hours with no trains around. Shame.

I know there's one Dtoider living in Brighton though and she's a female.

Very short notice :P

Ignore my last statement, I just saw the NY listing.

Still should have been a bit south, like Virginia or Florida,

Yup, those pics look much like Kits beach did this morning. Bottles with posters in them. Went out for breakfast with people I met there, was fun even if it was somewhat underwhelming
