B. That boxart is awful. Why the hell does the Omni Tool have a blade?
And if you don't want to use it you don't have to. I fail to see the problem here.
Yes, I have a Kinect, and I probably won't play ME3 with it. Unless it is like the coolest thing ever.
However I'll hold off judgment until I've seen more info
on how they plan to
support. I'd love for them to incorporate (optional) Kinect funrionality in a way that enhances the experience.
I am also, its like hearing a voice from beyond the grave. Or it could be becoming self-aware. Im frightened...

In the case it turns out to be real....then next week Bioware will indeed have a lot to show off, not that I'm complaining in the end this is all optional.
But something tells me I'll end up getting Kinect sooner or later.
We'll see...
Bioware's usually a smart company, though, so I don't think we need to worry about that second one.
Kinext support for Mass Effect 3 would be neat as something you could have in the backround, toggled on, going to a menu and being able to move your hand, manipulating a VR screen or interface (in the case of ME cannon probably an omnitool) but, and this VR thing is a big 'and if' because 1-1 tracking isn't something kinect is really known for. So it would be doubtful for it to be integrated into something like that. Perhaps, it could do some very basic face mapping or image importing for a custom character? Speculative. All of it is highly speculative if and when.
Same goes for PlayStation-Move, which unlike the Kinect has the ability to (with the dongle/knuckle secondary controller {navigation controller}) be a fully integrated controller with 1-1 motion for combat and etc. (Unfortunately, even though it's a PS device, I still think of Wiimote shaking things in Wii games.)
What would they do with Kinect other than for short moments that are away from the action?
What would they do with PlayStation-Move aside from full integration?
*shrug
The hardware is somewhat limited, limited how?
*shrug
source? Why wouldn't Kinect work WITH a controller? Why must they always be separate? Sounds like you are dumbing down Kinect in your own head, not the developers.
1. Navigating the map (MINORITY REPORT)
2. Mining Planets (Only problem how do you feel the vibration?)
Anything beyond that could be pretty dumb
looks at image.........(cries)NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYRRRRRRRRRRUIIIIIIIIIIIN IT!!!
I don't quite see how that will work, after all there's a lot of Mass Effect players that are male, but play as a Femshep, and a lot of female players that play as a ManShep.
Imagine. Femshep running around with a hairy manface on her. Unless they also implement a face morph algorithm, it just won't work right.
I want to find out just what they're going to do with the sensor. Don't have one myself, but I'm intrigued.
