Don't you just love live TV? The Home Shopping Network was selling a Wii with a 15 Wiimote accessory pack when the best thing that could have ever happen, happened. The host goes to swing the Wiimote with a tennis racket attachment and the thing flies off into the TV, damaging the screen.

Props to the host for still going on with his pitch, despite his co-host laughing her ass off at him. And I just love how he tries to hide the damaged screen by standing in front of the TV. Even better, this YouTube video is hosted on Home Shopping Network's official YouTube page. Hilarity!

A New Challenger
The funniest part is what they're trying to sell all that crap for.

I'm more concerned about the fact they are selling a Wii and a $15 accessory pack for $330.

That is such a scam ... why don't people just use Google and Amazon, instead of buying useless crappy bundles.

@Bear

Because the HSN knows there are a bunch of old people who refuse to use the internet who still watch and think they will be getting a deal.

Haha!!! Precious.

Almost as funny is the INCREDIBLY bad pitch these guys are doing. Seriously it's so awful.

"Right in front of your tv, the Wii comes with this little sensor bar right here... All I do is throw that ball up in the air and... There goes that tennis racket... And by the way, you like that, the little Wii remote comes with this band that goes around your wrist..."
My god. I realize not everyone is in tune with the Wii or video games, but please don't treat people like idiots.
Also, that price is shit. Same with that "large" accessory pack. And that host.

Now ppl know why wii isn't number one.

I'll stick with the laziness of the regular handhelds and guncon.

That's pretty good. My favorite part is them trying to trick people into thinking Wii Sports is an extra with the bundle of plastic crap. Of, and how that's worth an extra 130$ on top of the Wii.....

No, I lied. My favorite part was definitely him breaking the TV.

15 accesories for 130 dollars...

That's like 8.6 dollars each!

I wonder if people actually buy the wii for such a high price.....

I really had to give it to him for taking it so well.

Had I been in his place I would have screamed, stopped, and move on selling twenty PS3's instead because clearly, I'm going to have to pitch more than three Wii's to pay for that TV.

But of course, useless bundle is useless.

I like how he had to go through step by step the how to play baseball like no one knows that when you are batting you hit the ball, and when you are pitching you have to strike the batter out... it's such a foreign concept.

He obviously doesn't even know what he's talking about. He said the sensor bar is what picks up the motion of the wiimote. Even if he hadn't broken hit the TV he's still an idiot. I hate it when people pretend they know what their saying.

I still don't understand why people swing the wiimotes so damn hard when they are playing, it doesn't accomplish anything more by doing it, especially in the wii sports tennis game

WoW, as everyone else said that is an amazing amount of money for those $15 accessories! I guess I could see it if the Wii still was selling out, but everywhere I go has 2+ Wiis in stock now a days.

@Kaspar

Yes, it calculate the trigonometry of the Z vector force that accelerates the combustion of nano-particles and relays them across an alpha grid to the sensor bar. Translation: that guy was playing to the lowest common denominator and didn't want to take the extra second to explain how it actually works in fear that it might confuse people into not buying it.

Come on guys, it did NOT sell out! It's a fake, like the decreasing counter! It puts pressure on potential impulse-buyers and shows that it was a good deal, so maybe you'll buy the next time.

Now I know why they still make this kind of show! :P
