Wii Power Glove: The ultimate act of nerdom

2:09 PM on 12.08.2006, World Famous 28 comments

     Geek Essentials

I've seen a lot of nerdy crap in my time on this earth, but this one just may be the ultimate act of geekitude. Try to ignore the fat cat trying to escape the nerd's lair, and focus instead on the fact that this guy has absolutely no life whatsoever. How long until Nintendo sees this and gives birth to the ultimate Wii peripheral? Anyone wanna take bets?

The only 2 buttons on the fingers are the A and B buttons. The rest are left on the top of the wii-remote.

for some reason, seeing the hand raised like that either reminds me of a dictator, an Egyptian pharaoh, or Hitler.

Really coo, yet really sad. 1) why waste the time to make it 2) Why destroy a power glove :( 3) My arm would fall asleep even faster with this 4)Get all the hot chicks with this.

@linkreincarnate,

My thoughts exactly. In fact, I'm really pissed about this video because until now I felt really cool controlling Samus, but now that I see how retarded it looks in real life? Well, not so much.

There actually is a glove for the PC that has a similar idea, but more complex. I don't think it sold too well, though.

KEEP YOUR POWER-GLOVES OFF MY GIRLFRIEND.

Whatever he's playing seems an awful lot like Duck Hunt.

Where's the light gun?

I'm thinking the game he's playing is Wii Play, which we're supposed to get in the US sometime in January.

Now all we need is for Nintendo to release Rad Racer on the Virtual Console, and the dude can re-enact that famous scene from The Wizard.

@ Dexter345

The Wizard was such a good movie and re-enacting that scene would be great. Bring on Rad Racer on VC !
