Well, the Wii is now online -- in fact, the red light that signals the Wii is off has now turned to yellow. Here's video of me going into the Shopping Channel and looking at the Virtual Console. The News and Weather channels didn't work. The Virtual Console now works and I was able to add Wii points with my credit card (only Mastercard and Visa allowed) -- if you have a Wii points card you can use that. Pricing is as follows:
