I wouldn't say I'm necessarily "out of shape" as much as I'm not "in shape." There was a time when I'd hit the gym, lifting things up and putting them back down in an effort to make myself look as much like my Smackdown vs. Raw created wrestler as possible.
Now married with a family and a full-time videogame writer, I've since (mostly) given up that dream. But I did buy Wii Fit, and from what I understand, it's going to tell me whether or not I'm fat (note: I'm totally not). The problem is, I've had it for three weeks and haven't opened mine yet. Now, I'm no expert, but I don't think I will be able to shed any weight, or get any health benefits, by leaving it on my shelf.
I'm certainly not the only one who's purchased Wii Fit -- it seems it's still hot, topping Amazon.com's charts, beating out pre-orders for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Fable 2, and Gears of War 2. Oh, it's also selling better than Madden NFL 09. Seems people would rather shake their asses for a cause rather than sitting on their behinds watching other people sweat.

Why would you pack it away? Just sell it on ebay you would probably get a good price for it. Do people really have $100 for WiiFit, and/or $250 for a Wii just for it to sit in the corner? Hell just give them away to someone you know who can use it like a friend, or family member perhaps!

I read the full comment. I just think its extremely stupid to pack something away for 5 months only to keep it on the odd change that you might buy one game so your GF can play it something in the future. But whatever to each his own!
