Last October, a story circulated around about a Wii accessory spotted at a trade show in China. Unlike most of the plastic crap made to contain a perfectly attractive controller, this peripheral resembled a Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun. When I saw it, my first thought was that this would never see the light of day in the US.
Well that gun, or one very much like it, actually will be available in my country of origin. Innex has announced today that they have secured distribution rights for the RapidShot by Komodo. Based on the H&K MP5, they'll be showing the plastic shell off at E3 in a couple of weeks.
I guess I want more realism in my Wii shooting. Honestly, I'd just like anything I use to add function to the remote and be worth more than aesthetic appeal. I am more interested in what the implications will be once Fox News gets their hands on one.

all I know is that I miss light gun games and the wii mote on it's own just didn't cut the mustard, not to mention how crap wii lightgun style games are.
Wierdly this story makes me look forward to the move a bit more, proper "good", HD games and gun peripherals? Yes fucking please!

Bad Lightgun games? With titles like Sin and Punihment 2, House of the Dead: Overkill, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return, and Dead Space: Extraction? None of those crap, and I got way more out of overkill than I got out of your typical macho-fest 60 dollar game.
Well, fuck that, we'll just MAKE ever one of those god damn things into plastic to HOLD the god damn thing.

When did I say that PS3/XBOX360/PC gamers only play Macho-Fest games? I just said that I got more from Overkill than your average 60 buck third/first person shooter.
