I don't particularly like iOS. I don't particularly like Apple either.
But I love me some Angry Birds, and if it wasn't for the iOS we probably would have gotten a lame flash version instead of a direct port. Damn is that game fun :P

Ha, you think that's crazy. I was at Urban Outfitters & saw actual Angry Bird plush toys. Charging $15 for them because people are CRAZY.
Damn I wonder if the guys who made this ever thought they would be making about 30 million+ dollars from such a simple game o___o not counting the Wii and 3DS versions coming up.
I love video game related shirts, I have a PS3 controller one, and a Resistance one!
But I must say, those are some ugly ass shirts. You think they could at least try to make some cool designs. Those shirts would be ok for a 5 year old, but there needs to be more video game shirts that appeal to a more mature audience, or better yet; an audience who has a clue of what a good shirt it!

On a somewhat related note google just removed 50 malware aps from it's android app store, ones that once downloaded take your info and send it to a server. But I'm glad to see this doing well, more angry birds for all.

@Daxelman: No kidding. They aaid when they hit 5 million downloads that they made $1 million per month on ad revenue. Inagine the cash they make on ads now!
I hate to sound like a fanboy, but I think one of the reasons why Angry Birds has "sold" so much on Android is due to a severe lack of competition.
Yeah, the game is free and it's pretty neat for a mobile casual game. That helped it reach 30 million, obviously.
But in all seriousness, most of the games available for the Android marketplace are shit. Angry Birds looks like Uncharted 3 in comparison.
Please direct me to Android games that don't suck. I'm not trying to be a troll, I'm genuinely interested because I haven't seen anything really interesting available on the marketplace and I'd love to be proven wrong.

dantemustdie is pretty much mostly right. Angry Birds is pretty much the best free game on the Android market. The only other ones I see that might be good are tactical RPG's, but they're not free and I'm not into those.
For a free time killer, it works for me. Considering I almost always have my zune on me, I dont need a ton of games on my phone... But done more quality ones wouldn't hurt.

Some of you asking for some good games on Android should check out AirAttack HD. It single handedly made me believe that a good shooter game could be made using a touch screen. Only the "lite" version is free of course, but they gave it quite a bit of content. Tank Hero is pretty fun is is legitimately free as well. Gameloft gives away free versions from time to time as well, I got Dungeon Hunter for free last time and it is a solid Diablo knockoff...so much so I might buy the ps3 HD port that has co-op.

Jesus, stop all the hate. You people are sad getting all angry because a 99 cent flash game is more prevalent than proper oral hygiene. I mean really. If you don't like Angry Birds, don't fucking play it. There's several games, retail and iOS, I don't like but I don't flame the comments every time they're posted about.

To everyone saying there's no games on Android: The Android Marketplace is relatively barren, sure, but at least Gameloft is in on the action now. Surf to their site on your phone. Also, no one has mentioned Game Dev Story yet, so there's that too. And that Kongregate app.
