Who are the citizens of Azeroth voting for?

For people who do not actively participate in World of Warcraft, many of the references in the above video may not do much for you, but if you are one of the world's eleven million WoW players, this is going to be a bucket of laughs. If you have a clear idea what kinds of stats presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain might have if they were WoW characters ... well, let's just say you have a lot of time on your hands.

Oh, and while we're talking numbers, the Horde were 80 percent in favor for Obama... why am I not surprised?

I don't play WOW so this makes no sense to me but that undead warlock has BEWBS and a Va-jay-jay!

This was done better with that... Well, I saw it as an animated gif. I don't know if it was a cartoon or a YTMND or what, but it was an old-school RPG-style thing, with Hillary, Barack, and McCain. Much funnier.

"If the statistics they gathered are actually true, I sort of find them interesting, from a scientific point of view. Not that political science is all that interesting to me, but to see such a stark difference between the voting tendencies of Alliance and Horde is an interesting enough anomaly that it could stand to be studied further."

I find it quite interesting. I'm actually a Political Scientist (working on a Ph.D.), and I find the bias remarkable. I can't help but wonder if the polling was truly representative. If it was, then I think there is something legitimately interesting at work here. Essentially: what is it about GOP video-game players that makes them want pick humans and dwarve disproportionately? Does it have something to do with black/white visions of morality? Note that, within the Alliance, the "different" races (Night Elf, Draeni, and, to a far lesser extent, Gnomes) still trend mostly the same as the Horde does.

Like I said, I bet there are measurement errors all over this thing, but, if some of the same basic processes are real, then it's really interesting.

Sweet, Obama wins in wow. Now if only this translated to the real world than I would be a very happy lvl 21 unemployed computer nerd.

Now, if they'd found a pro-life Forsaken, we'd have a real man-bites-dog story on our hands.

@Relm143

AFAIK it's pronounced "wiv-ern" not "why-vern" so he is indeed correct. Although this is the gamer version of tomay-toe v. tomah-toe. Oh, and "Man-uh" versus "Maw-nah"

I liked the vid, good stuff. You don't need to play WoW to find it entertaining (although it helps, lol).

Now they should do this with Halo players. ;)
