White Knight Chronicles II being published by D3Publisher
White Knight Chronicles II (or WK Chronic Deuce, as I call it) will be published for North America by D3Publisher. Expect the see this title released this summer on PS3. What? You missed the first one, even after my extensive review? Good news for you: every copy of White Knight Chronicles II will also include a complete and remastered version of White Knight Chronicles: International Edition, providing over 100 hours of additional gameplay in the same package. This time around players can create an Incorruptus (a unique knight) for their own avatar and use it during online multiplayer quests. It sounds like Level-5 has cleaned the game up a bit. There was a lot of promise in the last title, so this one could be good. We have a few new screenshots in our gallery below. Did you play the first title? Are you interested in this sequel? Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I never got around to playing the first one but I thought it looked pretty cool. Hopefully when/if it's released here in the UK it'll come with the remastered original too. That's a damn good deal. Will this one be also plagued with the same dreadful voice acting cast that the first one had? The voice acting in the first WKC really put me off it, moreso than Star Ocean 3's did, particularly when now and then NPCs would repeat the same cheesily done line that would stick out at me like a penis finger would. There were a few other problems I had with the first but yeah, I'll try it a second time! I'll probably try to pick this up. I didn't play the original, but I had planned on picking it up, before I read that WKCII would come with the original, ages ago. Have they said anything about the difference between the originally WKC and the remastered version that comes with WKC 2? I played the first one for like 4 hours. I really enjoyed what I played. And if this comes with the first game included? UHhhhhh I need to buy a ps3. Now it's time to care about this game. The first was pretty lackluster, but I've heard the changes to 2 make it worth dealing with. I wanted to like the first one sooooo bad. Like, more than anything in the world. But I could not, for the life of me, put up with the incessant grinding. So unless they've tightened up the one button battle system, and the terrible grinding, I won't be picking this up. But I waaaaant tooooo. I liked the first one and more can only be better! I have a shitton of RPGs to play thru from now thru summer! 10:30 AM on 05.14.2013 New Adventure Time game coming, will be multi-platformA GameFly listing appeared yesterday, reconfirming the existence of the upcoming Regular Show videogame. 5:00 PM on 12.13.2012 Review: Black Knight SwordWithin my first thirty minutes of playing Black Knight Sword, I encountered a menu option called "cat head grass," a giant mother eye that eats hearts, and severed skulls in a microwave oven that serve as health power-ups. Yep, this is definitely a Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality joint.
