Yeah, yeah - we know. Either you're one of those "f**k Forza, Gran Turismo fo' life" (PSTriple!) kind of people, or you've been impatiently tapping your foot, flipping off the clock, playing the demo, waiting for the 29th of May to finally come. And all the coverage on this fine web site hasn't helped things much - if you're the type, just reading about it makes you more excited. And seeing a three-screen rig will probably make you blow your load.

There's no denying that the multi-screen support in Forza 2 will make for the most immersive racing experience that gamers have ever been able to achieve in their homes, and it totally kicks ass that they went ahead and put in support for this feature. And no, Sega's F355 Challenge doesn't count. It's only in arcades, and it made you feel like a dick for losing $2.00 after 3 minutes of racing.

Even though it's quite expensive to throw all the required elements together, a multi-screen Forza 2 configuration will make for one hell of a rig to brag about (and if you put one together, be sure to tell us). We've seen some blog coverage of these supreme setups, but I'll be damned if the videos don't get your heart racing. It's not clear whether it's the sounds of revving engines (like the one above), or witnessing the panoramic view first hand (this from a demonstration in Japan), but the few multi-screen Forza 2 demo videos draw out the most extreme case of technolust in racing gamers.

Now, is Forza 2 Motorsport the type of game people will go all out for? Will there be people out there who will buy three screens and three Xbox 360s, not to mention the Microsoft Xbox 360 Racing Wheel, 3 games, and maybe a new desk? Are you going to be happy playing with just one screen after this?

I can't afford one HDTV, let alone three. I shall have to just keep playing it on my old CRT TV :(

Bio..snark: Just what I thought but...

Does anyone know if you can do this with 3 regular tvs or pc monitors? it wouldnt be that hard to "borrow" 3 office monitors.

Also how the heck do they do that? you need 3 xboxes or something?

I have two of them waiting right next to each other for this. All I gotta do is move them over right next to each other. Forza two is gonna be the greatest thing ever.

Old picture post... but ignore me... and focus on the TV setup. This will make Forza 2 better than GT:HD by a long shot.

now can we do this with only two though? From what ive read i dont see why not but at the same time will that mean the car directional view will be right where the TV's spilt?

also is it possible to use multiple of HDTV's that are all different sizes?

bobafettm: I'm sure that different sizes will work (love that pic BTW), but I think you need between 3 and 5 TVs for a multi setup.

again, please be sure to let me (us) know when you get your system set up, if you do.

Three flat screens=2400$
three 360's=1200$
three copies of forza=180$

racing seat= 500-1,000$

and thats the minimal requirements, if you want to go all out you have another flatcsreen for replay view and a mini lcd for a rearview mirrior plus two more copies of forza and two more 360's and a 3,500$ force feedback seat.
and they havent even gotten into the microtransactions yet....

Everytime I see this, ever since forza 1 (it had the multi-screen support too - I can almost afford that one soon), no one ever mentions projectors. Life-size wrap-around seamless forza baby!

I have a 1080i projector I got for under 2K, I think the one seven-foot screen is enough for now.

I did this with GT4 and the sweet steering wheel for it. Too bad forza 2 doesn't support the logitech wheels cuz those are way superior to the crap fanatec and wireless wheels for xbox

@karnag3

The Wireless wheel for the 360 works great. The force feedback jerking the wheel around also gives me an excuse as to why I suck at Forza...
