What time is it? PS3 FIRMWARE UPDATE 3.73 TIME! photo

It's been less than a month since PS3 firmware update 3.72 was released, but Sony can't ignore the demand! Available to all PS3s from this morning, 3.73 is here!

Unlike other firmware updates, this one isn't mandatory, so only dedicated fans of the PS3's most popular exclusive need apply. In this update, "Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved," which says nothing much about anything at all. Just the way we like it!

I'm such a big fan of firmware updates that I may have to pause my download of PAYDAY: The Heist to get it. Or perhaps I should just savor the anticipation. Oh, I can't wait to see that little green bar again!

More beautiful game-inspired woodblock prints you can buy

We've shown off Jed Henry's Japanese woodblock renditions of game characters before. I'm still in love with that original Samus one. But Henry's catalog is growing, to my wallet's growing concern. Shadow of the Colossus, Fina...more
