The above pictured controller is a render of what will the be controller for the Wii adaptation of Dragon Quest Battle Road Victory. This is ridiculous and awesome. It was created by Hori to mimic the original arcade version's controls, letting you thrust the sword downward to set off a special finishing move.
There's no word on how this controller will work with other games, but I'd definitely love to try it out witha few. Tiny Cartridge suggests some Tetris on Virtual Console. That could work!
You'd have to really like this controller and DQBRV to get this, though. The suggested price is 12,800 yen, or almost $140.

I will never understand the hatred people have for the wii. It was designed to have fun, and that angers people like Terry.
It's not that people really hate the Nintendo Wii. It's just that there has been some unexpected result in poor gaming quality because of the Wii. That's what we hate.
