Tomorrow morning at 10AM EDT (7AM PDT), Nintendo is hosting a preview event in New York City and is expected to make a huge announcement (or most likely announcements) regarding the Wii U. It is pretty obvious that it will be the official release date, price, and other specific goodies surrounding the upcoming release of their new console.

But what do you think the details of these announcements will be?

Here are my predictions: November 11th release date, $249.99 final price (this is super low, but I have a gut feeling), Nintendo Land will be a pack-in (this would be a smart and almost vital move), Pikmin 3 releasing in very early 2013 (I want that game yesterday, but I don't see it launching with the system).

My predictions are 2 or 3 Wii U bundles ranging from $250 to $350, one that may come with a Wii U Pro Controller and a game. November 18 release date.

I feel like Pikmin 3 HAS to be a launch title. It's been in development since halfway through the Wii's lifetime, and it only makes sense to make it a launch title like the original Pikmin game was.

$250 price keeps getting thrown around, and I hope it's true. I wouldn't buy it for $300. $250 and a couple of must have games and I'd probably take the plunge. Despite all my problems with it that I've already commented to death on.

I'm dreaming here, but I would really love to see another Retro Studios Metroid game announced. If that happened I might even pre-order. Something I never do for consoles.

I love love love Nintendo and have enjoyed all of their machines since the brick [NES], but I predict something along the lines of lacklustre and uninspiring for this event. I long to eat my words!

I think the most chances are that it will cost 300$.
I also think that Nintendo Land will be packed in,and New Super Mario Bros U will actually be a launch title.
Nintendo said earlier that NSMBU won't be a launch title but would still be released in 2012,I think they would miss an essential opportunity if they didn't had a game like this the same day the console becomes available. They could just have putted some more people to work on it to get it out faster,or they could delay a few weeks the console until the game is ready.
So I probably think the WiiU will be released either the 2 last weeks of November,or the first 1 week of December.

It will be $300 and will launch with the same old games we are used too. I am not expecting a surprise from this.

I think that it will be released Nov-Dec this year or at the latest very early next year and like all systems will be over priced (AU$600) and have a crappy launch line up.

I predict some middle-aged dudes will ham at the camera whilst putting stupid shit on their heads. Also, Nintendo games. What's the Wii-U again? Oh, what they should really do is release a game where the goal is to try to get an old NES system to run. Blinking green light? BLOW THE FUCKING CARTRIDGE. It's like an RPG. As you level up, you get more fiddling skills. Eventually, you get to stick a screw driver inside the machine and try to bend that crooked connector straight again. Final Fantasy XIII only wishes it could be that engaging.
