It's so easy for me to forget how much I love the camp action of the Devil May Cry series that once I remember, I get all excited and giggly. Devil May Cry is a very silly series, and the gameplay is top notch in both terms of simplicity and challenge. As if the demo and the UK 360 pricetag for DMC4 wasn't enough to ramp up my anticipation, this epic new trailer has sealed the deal.
As well as showing off the rivalry between Dante and Nero, we get to see more shots of my videogame monocle-wearing counterpart, some crazy looking combat, and even crazier looking enemies. From the looks of this trailer, the demon surfing pioneered in DMC3 is back, much to my utter joy, and if that bit where Nero (or Dante, it's so hard to tell) is flying through the air, leaping from falling rocks happens in-game, I may just wet myself.
If you disagree that this video rules, then you're to turn in your Internet badge by sundown.
Awesome, first day purchase for me!! The cutting in this trailer is really well done, almost reminds me of an Anime OP. This song better be in the final game!! Can't wait for the game!
This has to be the only game where you can die 20 times trying to beat a boss but be ok with it, I really can't wait for this to come out soon. DMC4 will be EPIC!
Can you even play as Dante in this one? It seems like the Devil May Cry series might be suffering from the Phoenix Wright syndrome. Replace the main character with a newer, but similar looking younger character and have the original only make cameos.
@Trevor: yeah Dante has been confirmed playable but who knows for how long. Think MGS2 but let's hope not.
Either way awesome vid with equally epic song. 'Bout time we had more monocle wearing bad guys. Although, I don't think the jumping and flying part is in-game but I hope I'm wrong. That was a great scene.
I don't know fuck-all about the Devil May Cry series, but that was mecha-badass. (I don't know why I typed that. It's just what came out. Sorry.) Dude uses swords AND guns. Nice.
Do want. I only hope Main Character in this game is somehow tied with Dante besides the obvious. Otherwise I wonder why they made him look so much like dante.
This game scares me because I know how hard DMC games tend to be. Even so, I have my pre-order on it and will be picking it up on release day. Having honed my skillz on NG: Sigma and God of War lately I feel up to the task!
Do you know why the above trailer is so amazing? Because X throws a Hadoken at Vile's ride armor at the 0:22 mark like he just doesn't give a f*ck.
Of the games in the Mega Man X series, the first is definitely the best. S...

Back when we first reviewed Capcom Arcade Cabinet we told you it would probably be best to just buy all the titles at once rather than dealing with the staggered releases of game packs. That time is now. You'll get all 15 gam...
Sure, the meme is a bit old but the added sound effects to the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate video is what really made this spoof for me. Bravo, Capcom-Unity.
[Thanks, Dale!]
Some time ago, we learned off a rather odd project from Capcom -- a gritty Mega Man X FPS idea that never saw the light of day. Yep, Keiji Inafune gave ex-Retro Studios alumni the idea to re-imagine Mega Man similar to Metroi...

Resident Evil Revelations was a great action horror title. So good, it absolutely humiliated Resident Evil 6 by being superior in every single way -- a fact made especially delicious considering it was a 3DS game in contrast ...
After nearly a month since the last soundtrack release, Capcom has made available the Mega Man 5 OST to celebrate the classic platformer's arrival on the 3DS eShop. As with the MM4 OST, the album costs $8.95 and contains both...
