I think it's amusing how many people in the comments actually waste a second of thought about this and about metacritic in the grand scheme of things. This is a joke from some russian weirdo. Internetmoron with a shitty internet site wanking while looking in the mirror. He also floods metacritic -_- It has nothing to do withe the quality of the game. It's good. Buy it you pricks.
I'm not sure that it is related to the quality of the PS3 version - it's more like direct insults, and from what I've heard the PS3 and X360 versions of Darksiders 2 are fairly identical - the same with Dark Souls as I remember. Sleeping Dogs is a somewhat different matter, but Uncharted 3 has been hit as well, which obviously doesn't have any other version to compare.

Added an update to reflect the two-year war on Sony and its alleged involvement in Fukushima ... because this what my job has become.
To be fair, the PS3 port IS probably the most bug-ridden game I've played n a long time (I can't speak for the 360 version).
My game has frozen on me about a dozen times (forcing a reset) and I've experienced two instances where I thought I would have to start over the entire game because of level glitches.
Also, the load times are EVERYWHERE, there's non-stop screen tearing (literally through the entire game when you pan the camera there's tearing), and the frame rate is wildly inconsistent, even in unpopulated areas.
I love the gameplay, but I was really hoping there would have been a patch addressing some of this stuff by now.

I think it is time for Metacritic to admit it has a "user review" problem. In the grand scheme of this is not as bad a kicking a puppy, but why have user reviews if the mechanism for them is so flawed rendering users reviews meaningless. It would be like building a basketball court and then allowing 85% of the activity on it to be drug dealing, 19% to be prostitution, and 1% playing basketball; yet defending having no security at the court with the excuse that SOME PEOPLE might play basketball by trading money for drugs or sex.thus we should not judge them.
Just change the system! You need to sign up with a real name to make an account. Make the rules simple: 180 words minimum, reviews must pass a computerized spelling, grammar and swearing check before it can even be sent to the next step for human review. ALL REVIEWS ARE READ AND APPROVED BY A HUMAN. A human editor makes sure the review has a "point" and is grammatically understandable. A user can SAY ANYTHING, and give ANY SCORE. However, a reviewer can flag any review with a “Chime In” stamp that puts the review in an additional area on the site for special review. Form the front page “Chime In” reviews can be seen and other users are encouraged to use their Karma Points to flag or not flag reviews. Chime In reviews are in the special area for three days.
A user can write seven reviews per-week and up to three reviews per-day as long as they do not exceed seven totals. They really just need to get rid of the user review section it is just full of maniacs and serves no purpose and I bet it confuses and frightens old people as well.
Darksiders II doesn't deserve this bullshit wrap. It deserves mediocre reviews based on its own merits, like for example how boring and derivitave the gameplay is.
Sleeping Dogs on the other hand is insanely awesome. Looking at these two games it's obvious that they both borrow mechanics from other games, but Sleeping Dogs does so in a way that keeps the game feeling original and most of all, way more fun than its genre peers. The same just cannot be said for Darksiders II.

2) ...a manipulation of the legal system, since they were condemned of "instigating disorderly conduct".

4) ...a highly unpopular result with the population and the media.

people need to accept that the PS3 ports being substandard is because of its hardware. Not that the hardware is bad but the cell processor is not a standard architecture and not what they are dealing with or thinking about when they are writing these games.
The 360 might as well be made out of off the shelf PC parts by comparison. Which makes the jump between Xbox and PC so much easier for all the developers (except Ubisoft).
