Weekly PS Store Update: discounts, Street Fighter, and The Killers photo

In preparation for Thanksgiving and the short work week, the guys at Sony flipped the downloadable content switch earlier than normal. Despite a smaller list than we’re used to, there are a few hot pieces of content. First, we have Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix ($14.99) finally making its way to the PlayStation Store. We’ve been watching this very closely and are always impressed by how pretty the game looks and how wonderfully it performs. If you’re skeptical, check out some of these videos or read our hands-on.

Until December 4, you can get your hands on The Last Guy, PixelJunk Eden, echochrome (PS3 version), Novastrike, and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 for the sexy price of $4.99 each. I highly suggest you all go out and buy PixelJunk Eden. It’s the only game I can play after drinking a protein shake without feeling like I want to throw my controller through the wall. In other words, the game really chills you out.

There are also some LittleBigPlanet costumes that you may want to check out if you’re a turkey or Resistance 2 fan. On the music game front, The Killers are making their way to both Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2. And if you still haven’t played Dead Space, feel free to download the Dismemberment demo. It will bring you around, I promise.

All of this content (and the rest listed after the break) is now available through the PlayStation Store right now. Before you head off though, tell me what you’re going to download.

I may bite on The Last Guy.

Everything I've seen says it's pretty great but not necessarily worth the full price.

And for anyone out there that doesn't have PixelJunk Eden, YOU MUST GET IT NOW! This game will give you more awesome hours of fun than most full priced games out there.

Five bucks for the Last Guy seems like a bargain. THough I did just spend fifteen on SFII.

Well that's just Effin' Typical.

I only went and bought Eden and the Last guy immediately after playing the demo. They're worth the full price; in fact offer more gameplay than a lot of other AAA titles at £40.
