A few weeks ago we found some pretty interesting images of Sackboy dressed up as several Street Fighter characters. Today, it was confirmed on the official PlayStation blog that LittleBigPlanet would feature the characters as DLC.
As usual with multiple themed Sackboys, the content can be purchased as an entire package. The four costumes (Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, and Zangief) are being offered together for $5.99. Separately, the costumes are $1.99 a piece. The costumes will go up on PlayStation network this Thursday.
Although I am happy that the union between Capcom, Sony, and Media Molecule has given birth to four adorable costumes, I would really like to see some more. Perhaps Capcom could hand over some assets that MM could then turn into level creation objects? Street Fighter IV looks brilliant, but recreating a backdrop for that game in LBP would be quite fun, given that we receive the tools and the “okay” to do so.
