Buyer beware for PC version of Deus Ex: HR. It's had some stuttering issues for a lot of people, including me. I deemed it unplayable until some kinda patch comes out addressing it.

Had Shogun 2 already but none of the DLC, and I had skipped Napoleon/Empire previously. Correcting that mistake now.
I got a new PC for these games, I was going to get them when they were cheap and look, they are mega cheap!!! Wow!

Is it a Destructoid policy to never put actual product prices in the new posts? It's been a recurring peeve when reading write ups here, short of actual game reviews.

Deus Ex HR and expansion have had no stuttering at all on my systems, desktop or laptop. It's amazing at those prices.
Doesn't mean some people don't have problems as pointed out in those forums but most people probably don't have issues since those with problems mostly go to forums not those enjoying the hell out of the games. Like I did.
It does seem to be an issue for some, worth the risk for that price imo, but you decide.
I played 49 hours of the base game and 6 hours of the expansion, and didn't experience it for what it's worth.

I had no issues with DX:HR. If you haven't tried it, run the game in DX11 (but turn off the DX11 effects). I got considerably better performance in DX11 (HD6870).
In any case, how often do you run into an issue with a game on PC that can't be worked around if you Google it or tinker around? Pretty much never.
