Steam's offering two games to play for free this weekend

Steam's free weekend promotions are great ways of getting some great hands-on time with games you might have not considered buying. There's two on offer this weekend: Sid Meier's Civilization V and Saints Row: The Third are both free to play and are cut in price by 75%.

Civilization V is also reduced by 75% on Green Man Gaming right now, along Stealth Bastard and Defiance which are both half price. We've already let you know about Amazon.com's new Indie Gaming store which has a bunch of opening deals which are well worth checking out but there's also at least 50% off a selection of Warner Bros. titles including Bastion and Scribblnauts Unlimited

GOG.com has reduced a nice selection of classic Codemasters titles, including the original Leisure Suit Larry and Cannon Fodder titles. Meanwhile Gamersgate has a Swedish promotion this weekend, reducing the likes of Magicka, Hotline Miami, and Krater by 75%. As always friends, if you find a great PC download deal this weekend, please leave it in the comments.
