[Weekend Destructainment is a collection of funny videos brought together from all across the Internet to bring you entertainment on these slow and boring weekends.]

Frank Howley made a parody of Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" and gave it a very videogame spin. Strangely, it's pretty catchy.

Weekend Destructainment is a little smaller than usual, but there are still some videos here for you to check out. After the break, Dtoider P4KO does a rock cover of some Zelda music. Then the Icarus Kid performs some videogame remixes.

Next up, Patrick Stewart tells us why he's afraid of videogames. Then it's a classic Mega64 video. Next up is the Tetris song. The Destructainment ends with a Nintendo Power promo for Donkey Kong Country.

Dtoider P4KO does a rock version of the Race Horse theme from The Legend of Zelda.

I have that DKC promo video. I sometimes miss the days when games were hyped so creatively.

Holy shit I still have that Donkey Kong VHS. I used to watch it all the time, even after I already had the game.

God I'm so old. ;_;

I love the idea that Patrick Stewart buys games and consoles, and then just looks at them in a pile because he's afraid of how much time he'll waste on them.

Ke$ha is pretty much the worst person ever, so any parodies of her stupid song are going to suck. However that's guys video in particular was cringe-worthy.

I pwn'd Patrick Stewart once in L4D, and he raged and never went back to gaming again.

no huge surprise that Stewart has a bunch of games - i mean, the man's *acted* in quite a few (most of them Star Trek related, but also some X Men stuff and a couple Dungeons and Dragons related rpgs. oh, and Oblivion, for the whole five minutes before he dies, of course). i'm sure they give him a free copy of each game he performs in.

ps: i just found out that, earlier in his televised career, in some show during the '70's, Steward played Lenin! man, i wanna see that :D

If that doesn't convince you that Picard is better then Kirk nothing will.

I used to have a lot of those promo videos. My favorite was the Star Fox 64 one, with Sony and Sega breaking into Nintendo HQ. Why did they all just hate each other so much?

Ace of Knaves, that clip reached previously unheard of levels of awesomety. Though it did make Patrick out to be sort of a creepy voyeur. Maybe if we start him on Dead or Alive games?
